In support of localized food systems, we prioritize Maine businesses for organic seed and soil also, growing out of a greenhouse in Damariscotta, Maine. For many reasons, what we aren't able to grow, we do our best to buy locally to make even more nutrient-dense and flavor-packed salad mixes for you.

Microgreens are young plant shoots around 7-20 days old, packed with abundant flavor and nutrition. A 2012 nutritional analysis by the University of Maryland found that microgreens were 4-40 times more nutrient-dense than their mature counterparts.

Microgreens require a fraction of the soil, water, and fossil fuel inputs compared with conventional agriculture. Waste products are re-used as compost, and packaging is made of 100% post-consumer recycled content. Our commitment to sustainability is the core of our process, we compost everything we can, our packaging is HOME COMPOSTABLE, we work closely with our community donate our weekly excess to a local church.
